Further Motivation – Donation to School Breakfast Programs
We believe strongly in supporting the health and education of future generations. For that reason, CQ Nutrition pledges to donate $1 for every 1kg of body fat lost throughout the duration of the challenge. This money is donated to local schools to help fund school breakfast programs within Central Queensland.
School breakfast programs have proven outcomes of:
• Improved academic results
• Reduced behavioural problems
• Improved child nutrition
To reduce rates of obesity in Central Queensland, we believe preventative action is necessary. Influencing the diet and education of our youth is a positive initiative to begin that process.
Q. I’m a shift worker and can’t get in for scans on those dates?
A. Please contact [email protected] to book in. All scans must be exactly four weeks apart and the last scan must be completed by Monday 16 March, 6pm.
Q. I’ve had a gastric sleeve, am I eligible?
A. If you’ve had a gastric sleeve prior to 15 February 2019 you would be eligible.
Q. How do you determine a winner?
A. The first place winner is the person who has the greatest percentage change of body fat lost in the four week period of the Challenge.
In the event of a tie, one point will be awarded for every gram of muscle gained.
If there is still a tie, one point will be awarded for every module completed in the SCOOD Online Weight Loss Course and one point for every day recorded in Easy Diet Diary app.
Q. How long do I have access to the SCOOD Online Weight Loss Course?
A. You will have access to the course for six months from start of the Challenge.
Q. What if I want my metabolism measured?
A. Participants are able to get their metabolism measured at any CQ Nutrition clinic for $120. Just add on in the payment options.
Q. How do I keep the weight off after the Challenge?
A. In addition to what you learnt from the Online Weight Loss Course, we are providing an accountability measure with our SCOOD Weight Loss Program that Health Challengers can access.
Q. How do I prepare for a body scan?
A. No exercise 2 hours before your scan. No food or drink 1 hour before your scan. No heavy jewellery. Minimal to light clothing. Exercise wear is ideal.
Q. What if I don’t use Facebook?
A. You will be able to access the SCOOD Online weight loss course and access the meal plans. All health challengers will receive an email to the recorded coaching calls. However, to get the maximum benefit, inspiration and motivation from the group we would encourage you to create a Facebook account.
